This stunning Edwardian amethyst pin/pedant is chic as it is exquisite. It dates from the early 1900s. It is made in 14k yellow gold with a platinum top. The star of the show is the colossal oval shaped majestically purple amethyst stone. Intensifying the look, the amethyst is complimented by a surge of dazzling diamonds and a halo of lustrous white sea pearls on the top orbiting around the amethyst. The amethyst measures approx. 9 mm x 12 mm. The diamonds have a total approx. weight of .75 ct. The diamonds are G in color and VS2 in clarity. The brooch is tailoring a look of vivid panache. The piece measures 1” x 7/8 ". It weighs 7.59 grams. It can easily be worn as a pin or a pendant. It is marked 14k and JE Caldwell.
